Cranial Sacral Therapy is an effective way to encourage our body's natural ability to heal. It is a gentle, hands-on therapy that affects our whole body, from the internal systems of organs, bones and connective tissue outward to fascia and skin. The focus of Cranial Sacral Therapy is on the head, spine, sacrum and surrounding tissues to effect change in the cerebral spinal fluid.
The weeks following the birth of a baby are exciting and challenging. As a postpartum doula I am there to help you get to know your baby, learn to see and understand cues for hunger, discomfort and baby joy and learn how to manage your own life as you adjust to your baby's "24-hour" schedule.
Giving birth and bringing home your baby is one of the most profound transitions your family will ever experience. It can be a time mixed with anticipation, uncertainty, wonder, challenge, and joy... and it is different for every family. My goal is for you to feel supported, accepted, and encouraged during your birth experience.
